Came here to post some other shit he's said recently lol. He's been having a mental breakdown for weeks but it's getting worse now. A month ago he was saying the DeSantis campaign is perfect, doing great, etc. Few days ago he started saying well the campaign was struggling a month ago but is doing great now. He's complaining that recent endorsements haven't helped at all in Iowa and is clearly shook.

Picked the wrong horse, buddy. He's been crying about a lack of twitter engagement for over a year. DeSantis certainly has supporters but they aren't "online online" enough to make this a lucrative venture for anyone. And if he loses Iowa it's gonna be real ugly. I predict he'll stick around until Florida votes in March

The problem with #TeamDeSanctimonious is that they thought they could out-troll the Trump team if they just convinced the most 'capable' and 'promising' Trump voices to switch sides early on. 
 
Which meant that the unhinged members of #TeamTrump like Loomer became more louder pro-Trump voices. The former-MAGA's thought that those Trumpers would go after DeSantis and had prepared to counter that with attacks on Trump(easy, he was indicted and lost to Biden). What they didn't count on is that the Trumpers would go after the people working for the campaign or random GOP officials and expose all the dirt of the Florida GOP and connected political groups and PACs. 

Trump had convinced himself he was 'holding back' but after he was hit with that NY case he said the gloves were off and he has only encouraged Loomer and the others to continue their great work, which is partially true, partially unfounded but most of all the type of page 3 gossip Donald Trump enjoys most.

BTW you know what all this proves? Covid as a right wing political cudgel is dead. Nobody cares that Trump developed the vaccine, nobody cares about mandated vaccines, nobody cares about 2020 shutdowns. All the right wing activists who told us that this would be a major issue that propels DeSantis past Trump were dead wrong. To the contrary I'd argue a lot of republican primary voters - who tend to be older - recognize and understand covid killed a lot of their buddies, the vaccine worked, and DeSantis is bullshitting.

The only thing that matters now is the cost of living / economy and migration.
And Trump owns both those issues according to polls. 

The only thing he's weak on that is also important for the public is healthcare but none of his GOP challengers are any better at it.

With Biden strongly supporting Israel it's less of a wedge issue so the other development that could possibly help Trump is the war in Ukraine going south fast.
It's pretty clear that Zelensky is at a dead end by now after the failed counter attack and purges of his corrupt government officials but too stubborn to start negotiations. 

The issue that Trump will face is the answer to who will be part of his government. The base doesn't want RINOs but the independents will be wary of another 'revolving door' administration. The Biden Administration while ineffective and often slow to respond has at least been stable and fully staffed.
