Deriding someone for not buying a specific service (such as Gamepass, PS+ or whatever) should be treated like console warring. Saying you are not interested in a service and don't find it attractive should not result in a horde of console warriors dogpiling you, saying you are doing gaming wrong, insulting your "narrow" taste, calling the post "wild" or "divorced from reality", "bro do you even game" gatekeeping etc.

I saw a lot and I do mean a LOT of posts like that. I didn't report the posts because I'm not sure if it's moderable and I didn't want to spam reports. Should I?

I finally saw the Barbie movie and am I to believe the Barbie universe is in some pocket dimension within our world and the FBI is monitoring this dimension? Now I question how many dolls or toys have crossed over into the real world. Who among us is a toy? Who in the Barbie world is a plant by the FBI? Are there any repercussions for a real person staying in the Barbie universe for too long? Like will you turn into a toy?

And if one person is semi in control of a Barbie's destiny, who are the owners of the other Barbie's. Who determines this?

I am using Discord since 2020 and I've been in many servers. Some of them are official ones. I even made some friends from those servers but I eventually get banned when I disagree with mod or a friend of mod. I was at popular official (a game studio's) discord server. And a mod is basically banning other members if you slightly disagree with them. He called me clown multiple times and looks like the employees don't care about the server. I really want to stop using Discord because of this but I really like some of the servers. I just wanted to express how I feel.

How did he come across the Shostacord?

I used to be interested in what this guy said way back in the early 2010s, but now he's so far removed from his beliefs back then. This dude sold out hard, it's really sad and pathetic to see what he's become.

I'm thankful that there are many other Black activists and thinkers keeping their dignity and sense of self during these times. It's so, so easy to sell out and compromise yourself these days. Just saw the movie yesterday on Shinjuku's Toho and I had a really good time.

I have seen almost every Godzilla movie and I think this one has the best protagonist in the saga, my dude goes through so much and it had a good depiction of PTSD and grieve.

While not a fan of the nationalistic undertones of the movie or the filmmaker trying to say "look how misserable is this country now" coming out of the Empire of Japan, who were worse than the nazis.

The CGI looked very good for a Japanese production and the set design is amazing, we need more movies taking stage in historical times.

Also, it looks like they've tried to overcorrect the "Godzilla almost never appears" thing by putting him at the very start of the movie and having him always present.

Big fan of having most of the scenes by day even if it looks kinda samey for the whole movie.

They bring up Bone Tomahawk in that thread and even have a seperate thread for them to discuss how offended they are on behalf of native americans.  I see this as a yearly tradition about thanksgiving from now on.  "Before we give thanks who here was the most upset by the portrayal of our sacred indigenous brothers.  Winner gets to flagellate first."
