It’s not even stuff I can just chalk up to wild female shit; the logic pretzels Briahna continually twists over this are truly a sight to behold.Yeah, but the content. ![]() edit: ![]() ![]()

It really can't be said enough, how are people on the left failing these simple questions? These are the fucking heads of some of the most prestigious universities in the world and they don't realize that the answer to "Is calling for genocide of Jews harassment?" the answer "Depends on the context" is a terrible answer.
It would make sense if these universities were dead set on free speech absolutism and okay with any controversial opinion or racism but they aren't Like no matter if you'd prefer these universities to be free speech absolutist or hardcore safe space places, the inconsistency is blatant. ![]()

Its genuinely baffling - is it over-compensating for post 9/11 anti-muslim sentiment? I'd kind of rather it just turns out they have a lot of big money lebanese and saudi donors and want to keep the money safe

They are bought and paid for by the Chinese which makes it extra weird because the Chinese don't care much about either side

Wait, threats against Jews have no place at Harvard?
Wow, I'd feel very UNSAFE if I was at Harvard right now ![]() ![]()
I really wanted her to dig into those answers
"ok, so it depends on the context. maybe you could help me set up a scenario right now under which circumstances calling for the genocide of jews would not be a violation of your policies. like, a guy is just walking down the sidewalk on campus, says all jews must die to no one in particular, devoid of any surrounding context...that would be totally fine? since it wasn't explicitly directed toward a jewish student?" ![]()

Watching consequence culture catch up with all these holier-than-thou types is pretty funny.

It's too late though. The entire academia apparatus is crawling with the Cult of the Climate and Woke Virtue Signalers and it has spilled over into corporations now.
Anyone not on board with the agenda has long been cancelled, neutered or has since left. You'd have to rebuild it from the ground up and they would fight you tooth and nail to prevent it. ![]()

Nah, the silent majority has once again found it's voice. While the genie will never go back in the bottle, you are going to see a lot more pragmatism in board rooms. Just look at Disney.

I have an incredibly loose understanding of this situation, most through shoddy translation, but Twitter is showing me Japan nationalist accounts angry over some Korean lady in ads for instant udon. Again, bad translations. They keep calling her a smuggler, which I believe means she’s an immigrant? And she’s said anti Japan stuff? And some saying she’s only in ads because she’s married to a Jewish guy. Amazing stuff. They’re comparing it to the bud light thing and pulling up stock prices to say their boycott is working.

It was inevitable.
Most people who experienced it (or the aftermath) are dead now. Most WW2 content has been taken out of history lessons or mainstream media fearing a resurgence in right wing nationalism or empathy for Russia and to not upset the anti-semites. What remains is some white washed Allies vs. Axis generic military conflict mostly focused on events on the Western front as well as calling the likes of Romney, Jack Snyder, Alex from Digital Foundry and Trump the 'New Hitler' or 'Nazi'. While at the same time adding unrelated wars, conflicts and general 'white people bad' to the official WW2 remembrance days and ceremonies. If everyone is a Nazi then no one is. If everything is literally the holocaust then nothing is. ![]() |
