Commemorative plaques for victims of Joseph Stalin disappearing around Moscow

Armed with tape and scissors, Alexei Orlov attached some cardboard on a wall outside a residential building known as the "Writers' House" in Moscow.

The bespectacled history buff was putting up cards honouring the victims of Stalinism to replace the metal plaques that started disappearing.

"Here lived Stanislaw Ryszard Stande, a Polish poet born in 1897, arrested in 1937, executed on 1.11.1937, rehabilitated in 1955," read the card.

Two other plaques commemorating the memory of Soviet writers executed in 1938 and 1952 have been mysteriously removed from the wall.

"The plaques are taken away without us knowing why or by whom," Mr Orlov, 56, said.

The plaques were put up with the consent of a building's current residents to commemorate previous inhabitants who were killed under Stalin.

The project was launched in 2014 by the Last Address Foundation to honour the victims of Stalin's repression that killed millions.

But the Last Address foundation estimated that around 200 of the 1,300 plaques have been taken down by vandals.

Many of these people mainlined the whole Zero COVID stuff because they thought it was a chance to abolish capitalism. Biden was doing a genocide well before Palestine because he allowed the federal government to say it was no longer technically a pandemic as if this meant something or was some kind of legal edict instead of just advice nobody had to follow and almost nobody was following anymore.

I don't know how much you know about academia, but being illogical, idiotic and anti-intellectual is a huge part of it.

I don't know how much you know about academia, but being illogical, idiotic and anti-intellectual is a huge part of it.

During my stint in academia, it wasn’t this bad. Granted, we’re talking over ten years ago. But occupy wall street was a thing and still not this annoying and dumb. People were willing to discuss and challenge ideas.

I have the unfortunate interest in academic work relating to black studies and it's wild how a certain group of people keeps chipping away at basic standards in order to advance themselves. Following in a long tradition of "I made it up" sourcing, which you can trace back to bell hooks. When you look at this stuff you really start to understand why (straight) black men have been pushed out of academia, and why "black studies" have largely been replaced by black intersectional feminist theory. Even critical race theory is often sidelined by these people. 

And these are the people who are forming group think that we all end up being exposed to via social media, or at school, or at work. Going all the way down to children's education. And then you wonder why black (and white) boys are struggling in schools, and why they aren't going to college much as they once did. There's a clear agenda at place here.
