I work as a research assistant at the university. I woke up very early to make quiz to students. I went to bed very late at night and was sleepy because I had to grade the exams the day before. I wanted to have a coffee after the quiz, but I called my dad. Maybe we can drink together. He said that heart massage was performed on my cousin and my uncle came to the car crying. I didn't care at first because my cousin was 20 years old and a volleyball player. She had healthy life. I thought she went to the hospital as a precaution. 15 minutes later my father called and said my cousin had died. It surprised me very much. She used to make me so annoyed when she was alive. not only in her childhood but also when she grows up. 3 years ago, she took my charging cable and never returned and she took it without asking me. That's why I didn't answer her calls for some time. Because I was waiting for an apology. But no matter what, I couldn't get angry at her because she was my annoying cousin. I didn't cry at all until I went to the morgue. I hugged my uncle and he was exhausted. He had a coffee cup in his hand, drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette. I hugged him as soon as I saw him. I realized at that moment that my uncle loved me very much. I had to do everything to support him. I bought coffee for my uncle's friends. No one had eaten so I bought a snack. My uncle's ex-wife cried a lot. We hadn't seen his ex-wife for 15 years. As soon as she saw me, she said that my cousin loved me very much and always kept me separate from her other cousins. When I heard this, my eyes filled with tears because she spent her life to annoy me, but I could never get angry at her because she was my only cousin. While I was evaluating the papers, my cousin called my mother and said she wanted to talked to me. At that moment, I said I would see you tomorrow because I was grading the exams and I received this news a day later. My uncle is very bad. He thinks this pain will never go away. I can't console him. But I hope it gets better one day. Because I think my cheerful and humorous uncle will never come back.

I've heard enough from clients in therapy that when they had to work in their teens, they lost their childhood and becoming an adult with a lot of responsibilities means they lose out on social connections, hobbies, and self-care which they yearn for in their adulthood. They end up often friendless or not know how to make friends. Just be mindful of this

There's been a sharp MRA strain to these big celeb abuse cases; if you want to be depressed do a deep dive on the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.

It goes back to intersectionality where because people minorities like Majors, even if rich and successful, tend to be targets by law enforcement and America's legal system so in their eyes it never gets it right along with a dash of misogyny which is universal. Gotta say as an autistic person who struggled big time in the work force starting out, alarm bells go off in my head when I hear about "work ethic" considering how many times I got yelled at starting out in a job when I was younger because I was being given unrealistic expectations and not properly accommodated. That was a term I heard a lot to describe my shortcomings.

As someone with severe ADHD, the terms "lazy" and "not applying yourself" got thrown around a lot around me.
