The way I see it, underneath identity politics, there's a generalized spectrum of political thought wherein you believe in more democratic means of governance or more hierarchical means of governance. Individual beliefs can fall along the spectrum, but in general as a person your aggregate politics place you as either more democratic or more hierarchical.

Oh, democratic means of governance like when a new mod gets appointed and people go "Who the fuck is this person I have never seen interact with the community?" and a bunch of mods pounce to tell you to shut the fuck up because they're actually a super cool mod friend in the background?
Or the democratic means of governance where there is one single public channel to ask questions of the administration, and you can and will get permanently excluded from it if you ask a question they don't like?

It really is fucking disturbing. I only heard glances of what is to come from the stolen data and I really didn't even want to know that.

And on top of that, we have posters that go "I feel bad for Insomniac that they are basically a Marvel factory now," instead of fucking "This is truly horrible and I feel bad for the company and all that it affects, including their families and even gamers at large for this incident."

This is one of the worst hacks we've seen of a company since I think the Sony incident back in 2009 (I think?). I feel so bad for all of them and this is a great statement.
