I already dropped Disney+ because of its recent price hike. All thats left is Amazon, Netflix, and Apple.

All of those subscription services have had recent increases in pricing. Disney, Netflix, Apple. So, why are we furious with Amazon for being the last to raise?

Inequality and hyerarchization started with the agricultural revolution +10000 years ago, an really consolidated during the Bronze Age.

Then what's capitalism? She said capitalism was hierarchy. This isn't "inequality and hyerarchization" it's civilization. Agriculture stopped people from wandering all over and put them in one place. She's already said she wants an apocalypse to destroy civilization so Black people can start from scratch so it's not surprising she wants "degrowth" back to nomadism.

Thiese societies have been considered the first communist utopias amongst some authors, the most famous of which was Maria Gimbutas, but lately this interpretation have been falling out of favor. Although nothing is settled in archeology and things are still up for debate, we can consider those civilizations transitional ones.

Only societies were we find true redistribution of wealth is in hunter-gatherer societies, and even i those we can find example of dual models, in which they would switch from a hierarchical to a non-hierarchical form of society depending on food scarcity, weather patterns etc.

So the thing is, how do we evolve towards a more fair societal model in a post agriculture revolution, post-capitalism, globalized world? Noone has the answer to that, and much less economic models from 150y ago.

I'm a proponent of the de-growth movement, but I have zero faith that it will be implemented in the way it should be implemented. Yeah, we will reach the limit of growth, but it's going to.be a rude awakening for all involved, specially and unfortunately for those in developing countries.

So post-capitalism, end of growth world, how it will look like? It will be the end of globalization, much more local economies, local energy sources, end of waste as well and probably less inequality, but not an end of inequality and things can also end up being much worse, all depending in how we handled the transition.

Why? Why do you think we're near or ever will know when we're near the limits? Why do you think an "end of growth world" would be the "end of waste" and "inequality"? Why do you think it's the "transition" that needs to be handled and not your demand for a static state in which NOTHING EVER GETS BETTER OR CHANGES? Why would anyone want this?

That's what's been said about literally every price hike. When they went from $89 to $119 everyone said it was over because they had gone above the arbitrary $99 price and everyone's brains would break and realize it was worthless. Clearly we're realizing the limits to growth in subscription prices and what we need is a transition managed by the state (aka cops) to first stop the price from growing and then slowly lower the price while adding more features and perks. If we don't have the cops do this and stop the "hyerarchization" of the price it's going to be terrible and we're all going to die. The science has proven it.
