It's actually an interesting question considering not only white people stories have this but pretty much all stories deal with these topics in one way or another.
Even something as peaceful has Animal Crossing still involves paying debts. The closest we can get are stories about battles between minds but those still involve competition.

And it's kind of strange considering white women have the ability to tell stories about nothing on a daily basis.

I've read a lot of sci-fi from African writers. They all have those same topics in them.
