I've been selling nearly all my video game gear, well everything I didn't think I needed since we still don't have anywhere to move to, and Jesus every single person wants to haggle, doesn't matter how cheap it is, they still want to haggle.

Been there. I got pissed off with Ebay's greedy bullshit, so I started selling/trading music gear on Gumtree. Never had any problems until I put a console up for sale. No, becase I'm not Indy. I'm "some guy". I play games to be someone else, and for games with complex developed characters, 3rd person is better. 1st person is usually used for silent protagonists, "left to player's imagination" protagonists, etc. or custom characters.

To me, this is like watching a movie where the camera represents the protagonist's look instead of filming them. Or reading a book written as if it was my diary written in realtime. It's weird. I get games are not movies or books, but the rules of storytelling are similar. I can be immersed in a movie or a book and emphatize with the characters, but it's not like I want to pretend to be in a Star Trek holodeck where everything is happening to me personally.

I'll try out this game, I liked their previous titles and I like fps games, but it is a strange decision to me. I never wanted to *be* Indiana Jones, I wanted to watch or play him in his new adventure. Now I get to see his hands use his whip, so that's something I guess.

I'm sorry. That is very difficult to go through. I hope you're able to make it work in the long run, however that plays out.

I am bipolar type 2, and while I am not overly destructive or anything with my behavior, it can be a lot for my partner to deal with at times. Hypomania can come in the form of high bursts of energy or cheerfulness, often with flight of ideas and rapidly talking, that can be difficult for her to handle. I also have a tendency to try and handle my depression on my own.

Luckily I was able to find a medication that serves multiple purposes - it also serves as an anti-seizure and anti-migraine med which I need - so I have reason to stay 100% adherent to it. With it, I'm also a lot more consistent with my moods and emotions.

Topamax / Topiramate. It's primary use is for seizures and migraines, but it has off label use for Bipolar too. In addition to preventing the aforementioned seizures, and significantly reducing migraines, it has mellowed me out pretty significantly. It was a good choice too as I was not suicidal during my depressive episodes, and everything just kinda leveled out overall. As an added bonus, it has prevented a number of unnecessary dissociation swaps too.

Basically a miracle drug for me, despite a few side effects. Your mileage may very, however, as I know many did not tolerate as well as I did.

A lot of bipolar meds also are anti-seizure meds, and vice versa, so this can come in handy for those who deal with both.

You don't make this sort of lunatic a mod. You lock them up so they don't harm themselves or others.

Take the new season of True Detective. Some are questioning why it's even called True Detective outside of the obvious name recognition. Nic Pizzolatto wrote and served as show runner for the previous three seasons. He's recently spoken about how he's not involved and not to ask him about it. He's listed in the opening credits as an executive producer. Christopher Nolan is listed as an executive producer on Joss Whedon's Justice League. Trump's secretary of the treasury, Steven Mnuchin, was an executive producer on Mad Max Fury Road and the CHIPS reboot.
