New conspiracy theory from Resetera, secret fake author of new movie is actually JK Rowling. 

I heard people theorize it's J.K. Rowling. As terrible as she is, she has already written under a pseudonym to write a spy-thriller series, Vaughn has said the movie is like Harry Potter but with spies, and not many authors would have the pull to get a $200 million film adaptation made for a book that hasn't been released yet.

The article brings up it might be Tammy Cohen but it being Rowlings and Vaughn not wanting to say who she makes a lot of sense

I forgot to mention that as well, but yeah, that's another point that gives that theory some credence. With how stacked the cast is and how much money is in this, they likely wouldn't want to risk associating her toxic-ass to this.

So Embracer's plan with all these acquisitions is something along these lines:

- Buy a bunch a studios
- Buy a bunch of ips
- Close all the studios
- Do jack shit with the ips
- Buy TLOR rights for a fuck ton of money

????

I don't get it. Unless it's all a scam to rise their stock prices or something

I don't get what their plan is either.

The plan, as they stated, was that all these IPs are lost when companies go out of business. They can buy them up, shut down the reasons the companies are going out of business, then use the value of the IPs to acquire more while licensing the IPs out to new developers that haven't yet been run into the ground.

They already have competent developers as subsidiaries, they don't need the money-losing giant studios of the conglomerate corpses they're grabbing them off of. The alternative wasn't Square Enix using the IPs in AAA budget games out of their own giant studios, it was them sitting on the IPs after closing down Eidos anyway. They just did it beforehand unlike when they bought up all of THQ after it collapsed and everything scattered to the winds which took them years to get all the IPs back in one place.

My bro says February is going to be even worse for lay offs. Some studios/publishers were waiting for the numbers of December/January to roll in before making any big decisons hoping that they might see a last minute bump after the holiday season.

It's not red versus blue in this case, it's life or death. Do you think not voting or nullifying your ballot is going to stop the right from wanting to exterminate lgbtqia2s+ people? Do you think the democratic party is going to go "Oh no, people didn't want to vote for us, we're gonna change our ways". Votes have been going down due to apathy, and nothing has changed.

If you're that concerned about what the democratic party aren't doing, get involved in politics, protest, demand your local representatives do better, and do represent you.

People like me beg for Biden to do something, sign the Equality Act, anything, and people come in and team sports it into red vs. blue.
