Nah, this is his third thread like this. You can go read them. It's always the same thing with him. He acts like he's taking feedback but in the end he dismisses everything.

If you read through his posts, the pattern is really clear. An inflated sense of ego where he doesn't understand the world doesn't revolve around him and when it's clear it doesn't, he takes it personal. A security guy asking for his name is a personal attack, his therapist asking to not call her by her first name is a slight against him, and a good friend he helped on his way with his weight-loss journey is boasting when he talks about the continuation of his fitness journey and not just sharing experiences about something they have in common, students mailing him questions are trying to trigger him.

Also, OP is an academic who looks like Tom Cruise in Top Gun who doesn't know how to write the word 'gym' or where it comes from.
