I was gonna make a bad joke where I searched for an obscure Romanian actor to suggest as Dr Doom. Still might. Ended up seeing the guy who plays Bucky is Romanian. Presumably, the character is anglo saxon given the Barnes name. But does that not count? Or does it have to be a Romanian actor playing a Romanian character?

Also, nerds can correct me, but Doom’s whole deal was ruling Latveria. Not a real place. Always vaguely near Romania and Hungary. If you add Hungary to the mix, could Adrian Brody play Doom? What specific criteria needs to be met so you can see a cgi man shoot lasers against a blue screen.
