Many of these "uncommitted" will still vote Biden in November, much like many current Haley voters will vote Trump in November.

I would not be so sure about that, i bet most of those uncommitted voters have a very personal reason to be angry all the way to November even with Trump on the ballot. But a lot of things can happen between now and then.
