Man I feel like we've backtracked hard on body positivity.

If it's not men losing their minds when a big ass heroine appears on screen (then dumping/harassing real women in voice chats), it's people trying to turn themselves into IRL TikTok filters, or LooksMaxxers trying to tell you Margot Robbie isn't AHCKSHUALLY hot.

People's standards are sooo completely fucked; and in a world that statistically punishes unattractive people and rewards arbitrary beauty.... we've lost the script when people are trying to achieve impossible beauty standards and consider even vague ideas of unattractiveness as "political" or some shit.

Like I don't even really know how to put it into words. I don't know what people are angry about, and if it's that "men want the freedom to ogle and fuck their gratuitously large breasted digital women and not be judged" only to get mad and blame real women for wanting to be treated a little more fairly.

There's no sharing, no give and take, no sense of practicality or realism (or they'd just be watching porn as opposed to getting mad when there's less tits in their T-rated games)... it's just anger over bloody entertainment, which just feels sad or ironic. 

...sorry I'm ranting. Just reading a lot of sad and strange unfiltered "id" on the internet. It's really got me down.

I should actually read the series. I have the first book sitting on my shelf for about two years and still haven't cracked it open. It's odd how they try and attack her over so-called failures that aren't instead of focusing on her politics.
