I really don't know why you guys seem to be so upset with the character.

Skimming some of these posts, the burqa thing is scarily apt. They have a religious guilt about this stuff. Their warped minds conjure this hypothetical guy playing stellar blade, drooling, hand on dick. What’s the reason if not projection? They want digital ladies to cover up because they can’t control their own impulses? It’s actually worse than I thought.

Notice how they no longer argue that sexualization in media will "influence" men to become drooling, violent rapists/abusers towards women. Now it's sexualization in media--video games especially--needs to be stopped for "insert really ambiguous/opaque reasons here" and no doing so is wrong. Men should just watch porn/play porn games. So sexualized media is fine...as long as it is in strictly porn, but not in video games for "reasons."

And the medium was at such a lowpoint that the game equivalents of the movie Sucker Punch, (Lolipop Chainsaw, Bayo) were considered feminism and not "the writer's barely disguised fetish on display."

I don't think he quite grasped Sucker Punch. Nor do I recall anyone but people like Crossing Eden and other prominent members claiming those games were feminist.

Also, I thought we weren't supposed to kink-shame, but it apparently it's okay to do so if we claim a person is a chud first?

The way they talk about feminism is similar to capitalism, it's like it has no content or meaning other than what they like (feminist, anti-capitalism) and what they don't (anti-feminist, capitalist) with no actual relation to any definition of either.

This is like all their threads over there. Constant paranoia that their own personal fears about themselves is manifest in the minds of everyone else on the planet. And because they're obsessed about this stuff everyone else must be obsessed about it too. Especially the Chud who is their personal fears made real by the collective false consciousness of the algorithm.

Only a constant devotion to the scriptures to uncover the problematics of sin that's everywhere can protect you from the constant temptation that the Chud calls to in order to make Him manifest in our world and deny us Heaven on Earth.

Completely unrelated we recently watched this movie, really tense and nail biting.

In which the progressive forum yet again advocates to make things especially worse for the non-wealthy out of some sense of "justice" they refuse to explain and only ever looks like wanting violence done to people they've decided they don't like.

What makes their whining even more ridiculous is that game industry has largely acquiesced to their demands already. One big reason Stella Blade is getting the attention it is is because AAA games like that is not the norm nowadays. Hasn't been for at least a good 10 years now. But that's not enough for them. They explain this pretty regularly, their totalitarian belief system is so weak and fragile that any crack could undermine the whole thing and lead to the rushing in of the Chud to total power. People not seeing The Marvels will mean no Black people or women in media ever again. Stellar Blade will mean asses everywhere all the time and not in the good way where y'all showing y'all's asses and I can permanently side-eye you like I'm side-eying whoever allowed Stellar Blade to be funded while we're sitting on the precipice of falling into fascism.

Not to sound all Dworkin, but there’s been quite a lot about pornography, its accessibility, and the effect on youths. Both in the sexual violence against girls and the absolute warped objectification of women by boys causing ED. That’s a whole difficult conversation. Sometimes I question if Fast Times at Ridgemont High even moves the needle when you can accidentally stumble upon some borderline body horror tier smut by googling a typo.
