Despite the horror and loss of life, Israel is emerging as the victor

- Called Hamas bluff about the Gaza strip being a 'death trap', completely obliterated them
- Outside of the occasional drone or mortar Hezbollah is all talk and no action
- Hamas had to ''adjust' death toll now that the UN is allowed into Gaza again from 30k to 20k, far from being a 'genocide'
- Egypt and Turkey talking a tough game for domestic consumption but mostly staying out of it
- Military alliance with US, UK, France Saudi Arabia and Jordan (and likely others including Japan to join)
- Killed many Hamas, Iranian and other terrorist leaders
- Called Irans bluff and exposed them as a paper tiger, making them an easy mark for John Bolton and friends
- Exposed anti-semitism of domestic terrorists across US/EU in the open
- Exposed the Syrian/Iranian/Russian alliance as only existing 'on paper', none of them will help the other in time of need

No, absolutely not. Sounding like a conservative by going off about "the liberal media" is something we should maybe be trying to avoid though.

If you want to make actual criticisms then that's more than fine, and it's actually welcome, but we absolutely DO NOT need to be using the same sort of rhetoric those conservative assholes do. Especially when we're using sources that have had the exact same sorts of issues we're critiquing to do it.

Just don't appropriate conservative rhetoric, it's not a huge ask. There's ways to criticize reporting and the news, going on about the liberal media isn't it.

Let's be really real, there's people from this thread who have used this sort of reasoning to play whataboutism and outright dismissal in regards to actual nazis in other parts of the forum. I've gotten PMs from users about how their favorite twitter nazis aren't really all that bad because they criticize Israel and how we should allow them since they're a good learning resource. We've had people using the situation in Gaza to essentially justify ethnic cleaning in other parts of the world. A dear friend of mine literally fell all the way down the rabbit hole recently, using the sort of reasoning on display to justify it. If you think this shit hasn't been getting out of hand then you haven't been paying attention.

We'll undo a few of the bans, but you guys really need to realize how bad things have been getting recently. There's a difference between criticism and some of what has been going on in the last week or so.

Come to the conclusion these guys haven’t been happy, or really felt any sort of emotion, since around 2016. It’s their own making for being completely static in life. Never growing or learning or letting go of past grievances. All of this is trying to recapture how they felt back then. Which is in itself sad to consider the best time of your life being a fanboy for superhero movies. 

Also, with people like Snyder and Joanne, they need them to be the ultimate evil to vindicate their behaviors. Once again, these guys celebrated Snyder losing his daughter because it meant he stepped away from Justice League. That’s such a deep ugliness of character and it’s who they are. I'd love to see a comparison of the fight times with the new patch since the patch increased Player ATK. It might be inconsequential but might be a pacing improvement. I'd do it myself but I sold my PS5 copy so won't get to play until the PC release
