Co-founder of the game is a jackass but the game looks decent and I won't fault anyone for playing it. We all contribute towards the suffering of someone or the support of something terrible by simply existing in a modern capitalist society.

Videogames are also, frankly, at the bottom of the things I care about when it comes to global impact. There are much more important things to give your headspace to.

Mind you, I'm not saying we shouldn't all strive to limit the amount of suffering we contribute to and I respect whatever choice people make not to give money to pieces of shit.

There are those that make the excuse of "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism and therefore it doesn't matter what I do" and I feel that's just a cop-out to never care about whatever footprint you leave or the terrible practices you support by needless purchasing.

I just don't care enough to lecture anyone about it anymore.

My only experience with firefighters is when I used to be a banker, I found out that A LOT cheat on their spouses.

Yeah I mean I'm a woman(ish) and I don't like Bayonetta because while she is a self assured confident figure, it's still the question of if a fictional character can really be in control of their own sexuality and I do think the point of her design is still to titillate even if she is more than that.
