Just stop. I don't want to empty my heart out about how I was r**ed in a thread about fucking Alien.
But in showing me that we are same sides, with the link to your review, you made things worse. And that's all I have to say.
Alien has a pretty fucking explicit on-the-nose rape analogy for how the aliens procreate that even era-level media literacy could parse.
Ed Gein is my personal favourite trans person.

How a central pillar of transphobia rests upon the fact that trans women *don't exist* as we are all men pretending to be women to seduce or assault others. How stand-ins for trans women in transphobic media can often be colloquially referred to as trans women when critically assessing the impact from such a portrayal on the trans community. A transphobic piece of media utilising a man dressing up as a woman instead of a character who is trans is a blurred line when the grounding of transphobia is that the two are the same. See one of Rowling's recent books for a modern example.

Again, sorry I offended you, it wasn't my intention at all.

Not simply disliked, but rejected to the point where they are up for debate on whether they should even be allowed to exist. That is what banning healthcare results in right. If people really want to be disgusted at trans bodies they should check out what that "healthcare" results in and the patients can't complain because it's a cult and there's no medical standards to meet anyway.

might be surprised, they've shown up as "most popular porn search term" on various US states for years
most recent one, it's west virginia
Spoiler: (click to show)(click to hide) Judging by that graphic, you misread it. It's not a most popular search term in that graphic. It's that West Virginia searches for it more than other states, proportionally speaking, as all other search terms in all other states are compared against each other. That's why there are so many different terms for all the different states, with only a few that are repeats. Seems like they take the national average use of each term, then for each state, check which term in that state deviates the most from the average. No state is gonna have "dirty talk" as their absolute number 1 search term.

like you say though, if that were the case, then you would expect to see only one word per state rather than multiple states with "black" or "furry"
well if you would like more evidence specifically of trans objectification:
https://www.pornhub.com/insights/2022-year-in-review
Quote:The Transgender category grew by +75% to become the 7th most popular category worldwide. Transgender was the #1 most viewed category in Brazil, and 3rd most popular in the United States and Italy.
“FTM” (female to male) searches were 8 times more popular than “MTF” (male to female), with “transgender threesome” and “transgender surprise” among the top searches. Men view Transgender videos +22% more than women, while women view the “Trans Male Transgender” sub-category +115% more than men.
Gen Y visitors (aged 25-34) view Transgender videos +34% more than other age groups, as does Gen X (aged 35-44) by +25%. Our statisticians also found that “FTM” (female to male) searches grew +202% among visitors to PornhubGay.
The most searched for gender identities are “non binary”, “gender x” and “androgynous”.
I don't know if trans porn is popular nowadays or not, but chicks with dicks have been a staple of porno mags since I was a little kid and that's not necessarily trans porn.
You guys are making the mistake of thinking they're using the language of "fetishized" in the same way as everyone else.

I edited my post with a better explanation of the graphic. But yeah, even if it's bigger now than it used to be (no surprise), it's still not anywhere close to even approaching a norm. Furry porn is huge, too, and yet the vast majority of people are not flurries nor into furry porn, I'm quite sure.

If they mean "morbid curiosity," yeah, I can see how that could be somewhat popular rn.
is it secretly based that pornhub says "the most searched for gender identities are “non binary”, “gender x” and “androgynous”" because that means the overwhelmingly searched "male" and "female" aren't just an identity but a physical state of being
I don't think androgynous is a "gender identity" so I'm skeptical of PornHub's credentials on this matter.
