I'm not really sure what that video shows. A guy is asking questions to the CEO of TikTok about his citizenship status in what seems to be a hearing of some kind? Wouldn't asking questions and clarifying everything for presumably a record of the hearing be the whole point?

I'm confused. It looks to me like the tiktok CEO is from Singapore. Not sure if he has an American citizenship but doesn't look like it. Sounds like something that matters if the concern is specifically about foreign governments

Their argument is that it was an anti-Chinese dogwhistle to ask the CEO of a Chinese company if he was Chinese when they could have just looked him up and known he wasn't.

Why are people acting like anti gravity is something from the year 4026 that have no chance of being engineered in present day? I'd say it was almost inevitable that we'll see anti gravity tech in our own life time.

I just realised something seeing all the Fallout sales boost news based on the TV show's popularity.

Square's intention with the FF movie and the Compilation of FFVII, and to a lesser extent with XIII (no movie) and XV (video animated movie) was to create a synergy feedback loop between movies and games that would increase sales for both.

Fallout has just done what they have always tried to do, while Rebirth's sales underperform.

If they commissioned a Final Fantasy live action show in a similar vein to Fallout and The Last of Us (did game sales get a boost?), could that potentially boost FF game sales and make FF the behemoth Square need it to be?
