I don't think anyone was named or shamed here: more like a couple posters observed that the thread went from extremely hostile to pro-SB. That's not a single person's responsibility, but it did strike me personally as noteworthy and highly uncharacteristic of this forum as a whole.

This stands out even more because in the first half, people were being dogpiled and catching bans (some permanent IIRC) for saying things that a few pages of posts later are essentially standard commentary now. I can't say what others are doing behind their computer screens, but from front to back, the vibes in this thread feels genuinely like a memo went out or something (this is not a literal presumption, just a metaphor for how quickly the tone pivoted).

I hesitate to expand the area of discussion, but as a quick point of reference, it would be like if the next Kingdom Come game dropped and, 50 pages into the thread, everyone almost summarily drops the discussion of the gamergate-related history of the game, starts posting fancams of Henry, and acting like mention of Vavra are only intended to troll and attack others...that would be weird if that happened! And it is weird that something similar to that happened here.

Anyone can play whatever they want, but I don't think there's any merit in twisting ourselves in rhetorical knots to say that the appeal of Stellar Blade is something other than what it so clearly is. Especially after the hammer came down so hard on early thread posters who were essentially doing just that. That this thread is suddenly a "judgment-free zone" when it most certainly wasn't a few dozen pages ago is impossible to miss.

That's noteworthy, and no one is harmed by having that pointed out. I don't think it's worth going after or picking on individual posters, but it's probably worth reflecting on as a community, in terms of how vicious we are in run-of-the-mill disagreements, and how malleable our own attitudes are even on a short timescale.

You seemingly missed (or ignored) a poster telling you that the character is based on a real-life model whose proportions and features have been greatly accentuated.

Unless you think anyone bigger than the Korean model is unrealistic? I've moved on and was just curious as to what was unrealistic about the actual build of the character. Not her clothes, not the sexuality her actual body. Seems you are just trying to get a gotcha without reading what I wrote. I'm not here to fight some online battle everyone thinks they are in. I asked a genuine question because some of the criticisms seemed like a reach and I get all these hostile responses because y'all are mad at some guys on Twitter. In order for objectification to be a bad thing it would require dehumanisation. Otherwise every sexual glance could be an instance of "objectification", i.e., preoccupied with admiring someone's physical beauty at the expense of anything else in that moment. If by objectification you simply mean 'an object of sexual interest/attraction', or 'evoking sexual feelings' then how would that be any different to sexuality?
