I listen to my younger colleagues on great wages talk about holidays, great extravagant experiences they're having, eating out and buying lots of cool and expensive stuff. I also listen to them complain that housing is unaffordable. 

Then I sit back in my nice house and think back to when I was their age on a much smaller wage and holding back on taking holidays, not enjoying extravagant things that I wanted, eating out rarely and buying a minimal amount of cool and expensive stuff and have NO FUCKING PITY WHATSOEVER!

I gave them no reason to think I was taking advantage of them or blowing it all on entertainment I didn't need, and everything went smoothly, and I bought my house after a little over a year

This is mostly just me thinking, but is there anything we could do about people completely ignoring a character's ethnic background in order to fancast someone for that role who isn't from that minority?

I realize its not a huge deal, but fancasts about characters like Doctor Doom and Magneto and people just paving over those two characters' close ties to their culture really sucks.

It often comes off as championing for a reduction in representative roles, especially for certain minorities.

And this isn't just a comic thing, its happened with other works too.

It also just feels really weird to see folks just casually erasing minority characters in their minds without even realizing it.

The part no one wants to touch is the possible reality that there is simply too much good games to go around and thus some will simply get left out and thus the closures.

There was a massive expansion due to covid because people were stuck at home and had time...now they only have time for 1-2 games per month and the audience is fine with that.

these closures suck but it was inevitable. MS selling the lie that Gamepass was good for devs was also always a dumb ass thing. I got gamepass for free w/ my laptop to check out starfield and hifi rush and then cancelled when both were mid lol.
