Nearly 30 protestors supporting pro-Palestinian causes are no longer sleeping outside, but they remain committed to placing pressure on Illinois State University administrators.

Most of the group plans to disperse in the next few days as students leave campus for the summer. There is no organized plan to disrupt this weekend’s commencement ceremonies.

Speaking on behalf of the group, freshman political science and philosophy major Raseel Khwaiss said SJP opted to suspend sleeping outdoors due to bad weather, exhaustion and safety concerns, citing instances of harassment by passersby on ISU’s Quad.

Following their May 3 arrest, seven students were suspended and restricted from participating in university activities.

“We are in full support of them,” Khwaiss said. “They were aware of the risks of what might happen once they protested the way that they did. We believe what they did was for a cause that’s worthy of doing what they did.”

Khwaiss said the university’s actions were “excessive,” but declined to speak further on the issue.

“No SJP executive members were present,” she said. “In fact, no people with direct links to SJP were present. Even though they are allies and we see them as part of SJP, nobody who was in charge of any negotiations was present.”

So Damian Wayne:

I've noticed though DC has a tendency to villainize him and paint him as the "bad Robin". I mean there was his portrayal in Injustice where he joins Superman's fascist regime against Batman, Teen Titans Rebirth had him secretly imprisoning villains in a super prison, DC's plans for future state involved turning him into a villain.

Now in the current Batman run We have
Damian defend Bruce lobotomizing Jason, imprisoning former villains who wanted to redeem themselves and in general Zur setting up an authoritarian regime in Gotham. He had him reject other characters telling him this (obviously) isn't Bruce by yelling about how his father can finally do what he was meant to do now the others aren't holding him back anymore and has him weirdly pleased that it's just him and his father now.

Even if Damian figured it out in the end, he was the last one to figure out the obvious, he aided the villain and now he's being held hostage by Zur by his own fault until the "good" Batman and Robin free him. And if they have to sacrifice anything to rescue him Damian is going to be blamed for it.

NGl it feels really weird and a problematic to always do this to the Robin that is a POC, especially when it is used to contrast with Tim as the "good Robin" like the current Batman run is doing

Except none of this is being the villain (and he wasn't going to be the villain in 5G either) it's being uncompromising in the mission. Damian has been raised by the al Ghul's (he was supposed to be a new body for Ra's!) and Bruce both of whom have absurd personal missions about establishing a vision for order for the world. Tim and Dick have always been "good" in that they care about people and resist Bruce's mission and Jason is well, Jason. Damian is the only one of the Robin's to accept the necessity of Bruce's madness, but he feels Bruce is too beholden to failed structures like the American rule of law. From day one Damian has questioned Bruce's refusal to put down his enemies for good. Damian has only reluctantly worked with police and similar authorities out of respect for others and his father. Even Tim during his long period as Robin was shown as adopting Bruce's paranoid tendencies for need of control, especially as he ages and during the New 52. Of course Damian is going to be shown as falling into this. DC loves going to the well of examining just how insane Bruce is, why would they spare Damian?

Funny this forum would see him as a villain when he's basically like everyone on that forum. I'd even argue that if you like Damian or Bruce there's something wrong with you that you might want to think about. But y'all aren't ready for that conversation.

And Cassandra is the same fucking story, she's not treated as the "bad" Batgirl at all. She HAD A NUTTY CHILDHOOD. They're freaking out about nuance because they can only see the world in Blacks and whites. One time they made Cass legitimately bad and nobody else used it and they erased it quickly and she's been stupidly overly noble since.

You know who the bad Batgirl is? STEPHANIE BROWN who all these idiots seem to love. After her career as Spoiler there should be no way she's allowed as a Batgirl but because Tim she gets a pass. Also BLONDE WHITE WOMAN. Amirite?

Next they should whine about the portrayal of Huntress, especially now that she's dark skinned.

Actually, Huntress is great because multiple times her actions have been excused as her FIREY ITALIAN BLOOD. 

Helena's one of the few characters who actually gets the discussion of methods as part of her character, Bruce and Barbara's criticisms are constantly brought up in her thinking. Tim is basically the only other character who is granted this agency.

How fucking delusional are these people? Can anyone take accountability over there for anything? I've been annoyed by Microsoft's seeming lack of organization as a PC user for decades.

Arkane Austin made a great game that bombed and a shit game that bombed, while Tango biggest success was a AA game that they made in their spare time. No, I don’t like those studios closing and people should blame both Bethesda and Microsoft mismanagement, but let’s not pretend this came from nowhere.
