I thought to myself Metroid Prime Beyond looks a lot like HALO 4/5 and then I realized some of the HALO artists went to Retro Studios.

The second MPB shot instantly reminded me of the Truth and Reconciliation opening in Halo

I would say yes but this is Nintendo, so it wouldn't surprise me if they think the backwards compatibility is good enough. 

It all depends on when it releases, will they drop it before Switch 2, after or at launch.

Trails in the Sky 1st and 2nd are great games, that said if you prefer those new graphics to the old ones, you have no soul.

The Castlevania Dominus collection looks really good, will probably pick it up soon. I was worried having to draw lines with a thumbstick but they replaced it with button QTEs.

Switch 2 gets announced early next month. I'm hearing a base MSRP of $400.

It'll come in 2 different SKU's haven't gotten clarification and the specific differences between them though.

Leaks from China are usually somewhat accurate. Switch OLED, the Zelda model and more hardware leaked that way.
Switch 2 makes sense, it doesn't make sense for Nintendo to overhaul their entire strategy. However, It hink this system will have a somewhat shorter lifespan than the original Switch.
