As much as I sympathize with you I think most Americans do not care. The Middle East has been dehumanized so effectively and the Palestinian voice mostly falls on deaf ears in a lot of spaces.

I hope the word legacy in that users post means something to people in the future. It may not now, but whatever comes of this genocide in the future and the true toll is discovered, Genocide Joe will undoubtedly be his legacy.

He will be among many American leaders that cast aside the marginalized and dispossessed for their own ego and ambitions that align with western capitalist power. So much of the world won't see this as a brave statesman stepping down, but someone who should have been stopped a year ago before he helped a fascist apartheid regime inflict untold suffering upon an imprisoned population.

Guess that's a bummer for the vibes, but when we talk about legacies, that's kind of what it entails.

Dumb question: what does donating to the campaign via ActBlue do? Does it help buy ads for the campaign? Is there anywhere you can read what a campaign plans to do with the money like Kickstarter campaigns sometimes do?

Surely they had to know this could happen and needed to prepare. Incredible political instincts over there, I hope for a clean sweep in November if this is the best they can do.

The only explanation I can think of is that the GOP campaign operatives are soooo racist and sexist that they just assume everyone else is, too, and would therefore never really let her be the nominee. I bet they're better prepared for Newsom or Whitmer, despite how obvious of a pick Harris is.
