She's a black woman born in America. She's also Indian. That's how interracial/mixed people define themselves, and typically they lean into one more than the other. Her mom is on record stating she was raised black, she went to an HBCU too. This is a losing argument for Trump. Even moreso with a guy on the ticket whose children are mixed. 

Changing your dialect based on your environment/crowd is a normal thing minorities have done in this country for over 100 years. This entire thing is a weird avenue for Trump to derail into, and once again keeps him distracted from finding an actual message that appeals to actual people.

I'm about to say something so retarded: I genuinely always thought for all of his failings, Trump actually did some basic research before he floated a burn on his opponents. That Elizabeth Warren stuff also got some immediate, reflexive pushback, before everyone was like "holy shit, he's totally right wtf is she doing????".
