Most people tend to focus on commission artists, the constantly complaining "art community" is mostly commission artists, yet it's the texture artists and 2D artists creating background assets in some outsourcing sweatshops that are probably the most affected right now. 

When it comes to "regular art", the trend of copying any specific artist's style died off many months ago, anyway. Because it's boring. These days, pretty much everything is photorealistic (so it doesn't compete anymore to begin with) or generic styles. I rarely see artist names in prompts these days.

Don't worry though, it's been attacked as "bad faith", "right-wing", "racist", "misinformation" and "climate denialism" despite a lack of any specifics about what from ResetERA.com approved critics so dismissing it is fine. I will say the defense of 'He doesn't monetize the philanthropy videos' people kind of misunderstand how the internet works in regards to reviews/clicks/building a base, lol. Those videos got him mainstream interviews, give visibility to the brand, and long term have gotten him more subscribers and clicks to his other videos. If the argument is that he's a raging capitalist, reputational laundering is also a big part of the late stages of it.

responsible ones use it for brainstorming/poses/prototyping, particularly lazy ones probably barely touch it up before turning it in

I daresay my life--which has included super-fundie Christian parents who constantly espoused apocalyptic doom-and-gloom; a violently abusive older brother whom showed pedophiliac and serial killer-like tendencies growing up; annoyed teachers who considered me a lazy, underachieving genius; an adolescent upbringing lived in almost total isolation from the rest of the world, after childhood years being bullied and mocked by peers for for my femininity and weirdness; bad mental illness problems, which run in my family; an existence lived very tightly in the closet wracked with horrid guilt and self-hatred, until I finally transitioned at 37 and learned to love myself; and a post-transition life where, despite family rejection, I suddenly, unexpectedly, became popular for the first time in my life and made bunches of friends fast and just existing became ten thousand times easier for me--inclines me toward being extremely hard to relate to for most people; or practically anyone, really.

This is an unfortunate, as I did not choose my upbringing and all I've ever wanted was to be accepted as and treated like "one of the gang". I kinda am now, finally, but also kinda not. I've found my "tribe" later in life, you might say, but there's also many things about me they don't get and will never get because their backgrounds were much more conventional than mine, as a rule. "Normalcy" is definitely something I could've used a whole lot more of growing up, but that's hard when your family and teachers failed you as badly as mine did.

Still, I do my utmost not to dwell on the past and try to live in the moment best I can. Which is probably why I love dancing so much. Nothing helps me stay in the moment quite so well as that. (On that note, been awhile since I went dancing. Should remedy that soon.)
