All the Atelier games have had questionable character designs but this one seems especially bad, even by the low bar set by the series.

Like, you can see all the checkmarks that they wanted to hit with the design.

It goes on like this for a bit longer. Essentially, these platforms don't care about whether you like something or not but whether you engage with it or not. Positive or negative, engagement is engagement and they'll feed you more. Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, YouTube, they all do this shit.

The whole thing fits neatly alongside The Facebook Files investigation that The Wall Street Journal published a few years back. Basically, all of these platforms need serious reform and regulation. The problem with that is that nobody will ever want to admit that their favored content could be a part of the problem and as a result even the most milquetoast regulations will be massively opposed.
