so last week without warning or build up the business i work for was bought by another business

I've now seen a few reports in Arabic from Lebanon say the pager attack against Hezbollah has left just over 4,000 of its troops injured, with 400 "critically" injured (as in life threatening) and 500 blinded. I'm waiting for an English translated article before I share on here but I've a few friends tell me these reports seem reliable.

Israel may have just severely dented Iran and Hezbollah.

Of course, multiple things can be true at once, and it's important to recognise any innocent civilians that may have been caught up in this. I suspect we'll have more detail about numbers in 48 hours. Hezbollah members could have been in public spaces when this occurred.

I've just got off a Teams call with a colleague who works in the UAE as an international policy advisor and they consider this to be even more devastating than the death of the Hamas commander Iran were protecting but died whilst in Iran last month.

I've always feared escalation was going to happen sooner rather than later, but this might just kick things off.
