Quote:I served as an Iowa state co-chair of the Nikki Haley for President campaign. I think both parties let us down by selecting two candidates for president in or near their 80s. I was at a loss.
Then, when President Joe Biden stepped down and endorsed Kamala Harris as his replacement, I decided to see who she really was. I was impressed with how she handled herself saying that she wanted to “earn everyone’s support.” She showed willingness to listen to a wider range of views to solve problems.
So I am supporting Kamala Harris for president.

The polling trends might be explained by party alignment

I guess the tech bros and Kennedy supporters are just more organized and the swifties aren't pulling their weight.
What the hell is going is on.
I'm reading something about favors for Turkey in exchange for campaign money. He is also close with P. Diddy apparently and gave him the key to the city.

Will we get another parade of business men on Fox News going:
"You can't make an honest dollar in this town. Honest Business men are leaving this City Larry, business men are leaving! This city is going to hell"
"What are we doin' here fellas. Isn't Turkey a NATO ally. What's next, I can't collect money for Hannukah in Israel and get my second wife some tickets for the ball game without getting the feds up my ass"
Turkish Airlines isn’t worth debasing yourself for. Should’ve made a play for the gulf airlines or at least East Asian.

We're still in this Nikki bros.
Quote:She added: “I have not forgotten what he said about me. I’ve not forgotten what he said about my husband or his, you know, deployment time or his military service. I haven’t forgotten about his or his campaign’s tactics from, you know, putting a bird cage outside our hotel room to calling me ‘bird brain.’ I haven’t forgotten any of that.”
Quote:Prior to dropping out of the race, Haley called Trump “unhinged,” “not qualified,” and unlikely to abide by the Constitution. She also said the prospect of making Trump the party’s nominee “is like suicide for our country.”

Latest Swing State Poll (most accurate 2020 pollster) predicts a decisive victory for Trump.
Surprisingly enough in this poll he wins the rustbelt but loses North Carolina and Nevada most polls have that the other way around.

Does bro think there is a Labor strike in Yemen? lmao
Meanwhile Trump has found the BOLD button in X and is Xing both bible verses and crypto scams.
What a time to be alive
Why is Trump the first to visit the hurricane disaster area? What are the Democrats doing?

Not to Nintex-post much, but Vance is cooking Walz ass in this VP debate. Timmy looks like a kicked puppy.
Glad this happened after so many people tried to gaslight me about Walz not really meaning what he said.

Spoiler: (click to show)(click to hide)
Don’t know why or when these two tenets were formed: no seafood at fast food places. no cheese with fish. There are exceptions, as always, but filet-o-fish with cheese? How isn’t Trump spending half his day on the gaudy golden toilet.

Oh my
For all the slip ups Walz made. jd got like 4 chances to be "nah no inssurrection this time."
That is what Walz should've been hitting him on. Vance was lying his ass off (Trump SAVED obamacare ) and I wish Walz had pressed him on the lies that really would hurt him...like the J6 thing at the very end.
But most of the time Walz was channeling wish.com Biden. Once he got caught out in his Tienamen protest thing, the wind was fully out of his sails...sure, it doesn't matter, but you can't answer/deflect/contextualize/whatever better than that?!
I think I bought the hype too much in both directions: Walz as some masterful operator and Vance as a total fuckup. Turns out neither thing manifested in the debate.
I will say it sounded a lot like Vance was positioning himself as a presidential candidate. Lots of deviations from the Trump party platform. I thought his abortion answers were really good--even though, again, he's probably lying--and am amazed at how Democrats just left such an obvious positive message on the table (that they are way more likely to actually implement).
JD is almost the opposite of what you would expect from a MAGA candidate. Calm, reserved and unwavering and he has been the entire campaign.
Nothing seems to get under his skin or sends him off like it occasionally happens with Trump in settings like these.
President Trump could delegate a difficult issue to Vance and unlike "Border Czar" Kamala or "COVID Czar" Pence he will be able to get the job done.
Out of the current 4 candidates, I would say Vance is most qualified to be President.
Kamala can only operate with teleprompters and written notes but clearly doesn't understand what she is saying.
Trump can be very effective on things like the economy and foreign policy but also stubborn and a loose cannon, plus he is old.
Walz seems to have a limited grasp on big stuff like foreign policy but would likely do well on domestic issues like healthcare.
This is why we needed real time fact-checking.

To be blunt, some of that makes Vance off putting. He’s almost too intelligent for his own good and it makes average people uncomfortable. Not elitist, as some have weirdly labeled him. More calculating and cold. He’s been trying to get softer and affable but it’s not natural to him.
It’s amazing to see him next to Wanz, who went all in on self deprecation and is off putting in his own way.
