Oh wow I didn't realize the fun police was around.

I live in one of the few states that still has gambling illegal and it's the only thing that I hate about Utah. I've been gambling illegally since I was like 12 on CS:GO and I've made hundreds of thousands.

I only wish I could gamble everything on NBA but instead I have to find shady sites and give money to Russian middle men to bet in very small markets.

Gambling should be legal in every state and for everyone. People are young and everything is way more fun with stakes in involved. We should make it easier for people to gamble, not harder.

Any of you who are still hanging out in the Nazi bar, you have to have noticed that many people are bailing or posting much less. Why are you still in the Nazi bar? Self-respect has to kick in at some point, no one needs you to wait to be the last one who turns off the lights. I promise you can find memes, dunks, and funny observations from strangers elsewhere on the Internet.

Anecdotally, a friend I have who's still in the Nazi bar says they absolutely see the Nazi shit popping up in force every few weeks. They'll have a relatively normal time seeing their curated left-wing politics and joke posts, but randomly it'll start throwing Republicans and their hate on the For You. We used to think it was because they were checking out the accounts of assholes who were getting dunked on, or maybe they liked a post by someone who is secretly right-wing, but the more likely explanation is the algorithm is routinely trying to influence everyone to align with Musk's views.

They regularly ban people for following the "wrong" person on social media, expressing playing the "wrong" game in a video game forum, watching the "wrong" comedian, and watching the "wrong" YouTuber. But calling out users still using Twitter run by who they claim is a Nazi and the #2 threat of all humanity (behind Trump) is a bridge too far and ban-worthy?

Ordinarily, this thread isn't any different than the dozens of other threads posted about this boring subject every week.

What makes it amusing, though, is that he goes the extra mile and complains Genshin Impact, Honkai doesn't have fatties, dwarves, disabled people...

I just did some perusing (I'll get to why in a bit) on Genshin, Honkai, and ZZZ, and there's about 165 different playable characters across all three games.

ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE

Not only are there no black characters, or hardly any characters with skin tones darker than is indicated by spending a weekend on the beach, but there's absolutely no body diversity. No one is fat, no one has chub, no one is extremely buff, no one is particularly stocky or dwarfish, no one is missing limbs or has prosthetics, no one has facial hair. Not only that, everyone looks like they fit in the extremely limited age bracket of 13-18. ZZZ broke some new ground by introducing a couple of anthro furry characters (a wolf and a bear), which is cool and a huge breath of fresh air, but it's two fantasy additions in a literal sea of underage pale anime-eyed supermodels.

Someone please explain to this dude:

- MiHoYo makes games that are like the McDonalds of the industry. They are fast food. Easily consumable. They are supposed to be played in short bursts, mainly on your mobile phone in between breaks at work/school/on-the-train

- MiHoYo games are aimed at the Eastern market, where the population is overwhelmingly white-skinned. Companies based in their home market, should appeal largely to that market to guarantee continued success.

- MiHoYo games have 5000 employees, so they're gonna be more concerned with generating revenue continuously to keep those folks employed

- MiHoYo games have virtually no story at all. They are pure fantasy. They aren't writing legendary masterpieces of gaming fiction, like Dustborn and Forsaken

- You guys literally had a thread a couple of days ago where Tetsuya Nomura of Square Enix said that everyone is handsome/sexy in Final Fantasy because players don't want to play ugly versions of their IRL selves... and 90% of the posters in that thread agreed 

- MiHoYo makes billions of dollars every year from their games... so they are clearly doing something right

- Have you guys STILL learn nothing from the catastrophic failure of Concord. Nobody wants that shit. Not even all you LGBT-DEI fanatics that keep begging for those kinds of games, because almost none of you bought it!

I mean, they are not masterpieces or anything close of that, but people seem to genuinely care for the lore of those games. If they didn’t, nobody will give a fuck about the gacha characters outside of looking hot or will not be obsessed about lore implications that one character looks like other one in another game (a la Fate/x)
