Actually I forgot the Illuminati technically dissolve because of Civil War and not because Black Panther was right about the concept being wrong and Namor beating the shit out of Tony and telling them all Hulk would come back and they'd regret it. Like supporting the Registration Act was worse than the Hulk thing because Marvel had invested a hundred sprawling never-ending issues into playing up the disagreement over it as the biggest thing ever. 

Also ironically Civil War the comic has the same problem as the movie, it BoTh sIdEs things even though Tony is clearly wrong in both and nothing good comes of it purely because otherwise there's no conflict and thus no story.

Gamergaters are going to lose their mind if (let's be honest, when) the final script for Metaphor flubs the message of "racism bad" and think pieces are written about it. Do they hate it because woke translation? Or do they love it because the enemy says its script is bad?

Even if they don't mess up the central theme (but I've got $10 on a "both sides" message), there's also treatment of queer people (if they exist in this fantasy world) to whom the director has been pretty damn hostile.

So, I've been basically going down the check list of making sure I get all my health stuff updated and in check throughout this year, since you know that shit is important to do. After finally finishing all my dental work, I decided it was time to finally get my eyes checked because it's been a really long time. Now, for reference, I've seen this image above for so many years and stumbling upon it made me realize I might have an astigmatism considering I did always struggle to see at night due to all the lights or even while watching movies sometimes because the light streaks would be distracting. Like most people, I thought that was normal and just how people saw but no, younger me was dumb and wrong.

Fast forward to today, I went to take an eye exam and it turns out that this picture that's often spread across social media is actually right. If you see lights like the image above at night, you might (or likely do) have an astigmatism and I can say that because it turns out, I just found out that I do actually have an astigmatism and do need to get glasses for this exact reason.

Just wanna shoutout this Tiktok because it's what made me finally book an eye exam appointment to find this out. Without stumbling upon this Tiktok recently, I might've delayed finding out this news for who knows how much longer:

Don't know how bad his astigmatism is but glasses probably won't make it perfect. I have severe stigmatism and I'm always annoyed when I get new glasses because shit never looks as good as I want it too. Fucking insurance won't pay for surgery unless I get cataracts.
