I want SEGA to do a remastered collection of the old Sonic Games that they haven't already; the racing ones, Unleashed, 06, the Wii games, the DS games and even the ones that people lost their fucking minds over for changing his arm colour. I want to experience how bad some of these games truly are.

My original source for hearing about this story is the tweet I used in the OP. She is a trans woman and an LGBTQ+ activist. And after watching the ad, I agreed with her opinion of it.

I respect that you're seeing the ad in a more positive light but I just don't see it that way. At the absolute best, his words were carefully selected to try and play both sides of the issue, and in my opinion, that is still throwing trans people under the bus.

I'm for trans rights as long as the person has had gender dysphoria for a long time, has had all the mental health evaluations, is a consenting adult and it isn't coming out of my tax paying money for any of their cosmetic surgeries. Just basic rights like every other citizen of the country. Don't be a shithead, a trans trend seeker, a creep, etc.

HOWEVER

In sports I do not support them. Even in pro wrestling I'm not really for it.

It's because if they were honest about trans acceptance in society they'd have to admit they were already well past majority support for them similar to gay marriage. They needed to focus on stuff like mandating pronouns, forcing their way into sports, into women's spaces, into converting children, etc. or there was no litmus test that would automatically push out 95% of the population. The actual position of "just leave trans people alone" wouldn't bother anyone because we were all already doing it, especially in progressive/"ally"/etc. spaces like ResetERA.com.

This wasn't even a subject that conservatives gave a shit about, it would have been beyond easy to get them to 75% acceptance just like they are less than a decade after gay marriage became a thing.

But none of that served the interests of the people, the "activists", the narcissists, etc. pushing any of this. None of that was ever relevant to them. They're trans in part because they viewed it as a path to force others to submit to them. (I argue this is because they're misogynists, but I am open to being challenged on this. As most TERFs are eager to be.)
