Including many of the same dolts crying about it in that thread. I remember they put out Puppeteer or something like that for like 40 bucks and many of ERA or GAF went "its only 8 hours long? Gonna wait for sale" Which is fine but you then can't be surprised when they can the studio and focus on the dreck that people actually buy.

I think you're conflating "enthusiasm has dropped off" with "there is no enthusiasm," which no one is really saying. There will always be the die hards with coconut emojis in their Twitter handles.

But it's very clear that there are people on the left who have soured on her campaign since the DNC. You can see it here on Era, mainly outside of this thread, and it's very apparent when speaking to progressives who had hoped she would move away from Biden on certain issues.

Some of the drop-off is natural, as she was obviously never going to maintain the amount of hype surrounding her campaign when she took over for Biden. But she has absolutely disappointed a number of people on the left with her capitulating to the right and her undeniably horrific stance on Gaza.

Doesn't mean the campaign is cratering or that she's going to lose. But if you're paying attention to multiple groups and demographics on the left, there was a very noticeable shift in discussion after the DNC.

The biggest irony of all of these clutched pearls is that I think any honest regular buyer (buyer, not "fan") of Japan Studio games saw the writing on the wall. I know I wasn't surprised in the least. 

It's like being shocked when Irem pivoted away from games. Like...duh, of course they did? I played those games: ain't nobody sustaining a thriving company like that lol (pour one out for Steambot Chronicles).

I am aware that Granzella exists and carries on the Irem legacy, but I imagine the whole scene is very labor-of-love and not something anyone is getting filthy rich (or even especially comfortable) on.
