Even though I come across as extremely negative a good portion of the time, I don't focus on things I dislike when I'm offline and hell even online for the vast majority of the time. This one will likely never go on sale as in tiny text it says "*Offer valid through January 6, 2025". Shit's weird, they take some mounts from the collector's editions of old expansions and price them at $32 Canadian when the upgrades were like $20 and you got a good amount of stuff before. People will buy it at the end of the day.

So the past few weeks I've been very talkative about wlw fiction, both how I love it and can be relaxing for me and help with issues like depression, but also frustration with the state of wlw fiction, espcially in the mainstream space, including the enforcement of certain ideas and tropes. A few days ago though, something hit me after a post of encouragement I got on the gaming side (big thanks to [USER=2627]Princess Bubblegum[/USER] for that, I really needed that); complaining about it isn't going to do anything, I need to actually contribute to the push and effort and so that I can have the type media I want out there and hopefully help others the way other's wlw fiction has helped me.

Since I can't program (much to my internal frustration), my drawing ability is limited (I can but no way am I professional), I decided to the best way to do that is being a novel since I spent years training to be screen writer. I'm not here to asking for writing advice or help with setting, I'd rather not talk about that stuff publicly and got a lot of ideas (too many when it comes to love interests).

The reason for this thread is the implications of writing and (hopefully) publishing a novel as a trans woman, one that isn't out of the closest offline and has spent the best of 6 years now worried about doing so to my family and people I know offline because sooner or later, even with a pen name going to figure out something is up. The you have the double whammy of the UK straight up monasteries trans people and as some who hasn't physically transitioned (and given the UK Healthcare's system making that near impossible for me, have no idea how) and online being no better with the sheer amount of hate their is on social media (one of the reasons this thread is Members only is because I know certain chud lords read era) right now thanks to grifters and corporations supporting them; like the sheer amount of cruelty I've seen from these chuds in the GamerGate 2.0 thread is chilling.

The advice I'm asking is how am I going to deal with that if and when I finish my novel is how to deal with that? I want to finish the novel, I want my work out there, but scared of facing the wrath of the TERFs and chuds; and I don't want to lie and hide who I am, but I'm so scared of having to come out to my family because I'm not sure how they'll react or understand. I 1/3rd  feel like I'm making a mistake and 1/3rd that I need to do it and the last 1/3rd feeling like maybe I should actually write first and think about all this later.

Ticket prices are insane here in Canada. For nosebleed seats its like over $100 before tax for one seat. Then you have to factor in gas for getting to the event, if the parking lot has a ticket system, a meal before the show depending on how far it is away, etc. At least it's coming to Netflix next year and I'm hoping the live feed quality will be good.

Sadly, a lot WAS learned from the holocaust. It's just what was learned and how it's utilized is the issue.

I again just want to point out that:
1. This isn't what the Nazis did.
2. It's not close to the Holocaust, which was a systemic eradication of large number of German citizens by their own government. (But Poles and Czechs you say, they were annexed, those were Germany "now". The whole point of the Nazi plan was that was all supposed to become Germany.)
3. This isn't colonialism.

I love how they make what the Nazis actually did and what colonialism actually was into these far less worse common things. Taking territory after war is not Nazism or colonialism, even if you shouldn't be doing it.

The Nazis famously had belts that said: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). Nazi ideology was basically a bit of Germanic paganism and plagiarized Christianity combined.
The Swastika was used as a stand-in prop for the Christian Holy Cross. They also made sure everyone knew the Fuhrer was chosen by god to lead the German people a bit like Xi is replacing Jesus with himself. In fact the idea of the "Third Reich" calls back not just to the third "German Empire" but also to the idea of a "Third Rome".

This isn't just a trans thing, there's a large amount of people who believe doctors should be slaves. They don't see doctors as experts in their field that you go to for advice, but an unnecessary GATEKEEPER to things they want. To pick a similar politicized example because of its simplicity of the ethical considerations, there are people who believe doctors should not be allowed to opt out of performing elective abortions. That if you become a doctor, you must do as any patient desires on this subject regardless of your own views. Trans people believe this about their "essential care" almost universally.

Most people have no clue about medicine, or science, and think it's just literal recipes. They're completely ignorant of how nebulous many things are. Like the fact that little of psychological medicine has real empirical proof. Or the fact that HRT itself doesn't have an underlying theory to how it supposed to work or how it even acts. The idea that a doctor could read the research and disagree and thus practice accordingly not just passes them by, it openly offends them.
