This will be the second colonoscopy this year because I fucking failed the last one. Didn't eat for two days, had two colace bombs (a crazy concoction of several different laxatives my local hospital gives), and an enema, and the prep but fuck me after I woke up they said the procedure failed because there was still too much shit.


Needless to say I had a fit when the doctor told me this. Vacuum it out ya lazy fucking pricks. That's what they did when I had one in my twenties

Had a colonoscopy ~5 years ago. They couldn't find anything so the diagnosis was IBS. 
 

It wasn't so bad actually, they put you on your side, you start talking nonsense, you count down from 10, you fall asleep and the nurse wakes you up a few hours later.

Despite being super fit and healthy I got this in my 30's back during lockdown. Stage 4 with 5% chance of survival, doctor removed the biggest tumour he'd ever seen from me despite my weight having fallen to 8 stone (112 pounds) as a 6'1 male. Been on chemo since then and survived longer than anybody expected but every day could be my last and just existing is hell.

If there is something feeling even slightly wrong GET. YOURSELF. CHECKED. ASAP.
