I imagine those who are part of the many groups that will be affected by the results of this election already know this and planned this even under a Kamala administration, so this is more towards people like me. Yes, the fact that this election went to Trump is not good, but at the same time, despairing the whole time isn't the direction to go the next bunch of years. Understandably, it will take time to process this, but I am also taking this time to figure out what I can do in my limited capacity to help others.

My new workplace has a program where they will match a limited amount of donations, so I will try to donate to some causes with what I am able to. With the extra benefit of getting out more and meeting new people, I am going to look into volunteer I can do to help those in need. Lastly, while it has been hard for me trying to get through to others, I am going to try my best to talk to those who did still vote for Trump who I know and try to push them in a better direction. While I could say fuck them due to everything Trump stands for, as a person who won't be affected as much compared to a lot of other people, I do need to be someone to try to do something at least to help push some people away from whatever mindset got them into their voting habits.

To those who had the most to fear with this outcome, I am sorry that we did not move away from Trump like I had hoped. Hopefully many people who voted Kamala will bare minimum like me do something to make some tangible difference in the way they are able to. Feel free to add anything you think is good for people to volunteer for or donate to if able.

Should have said that this isn't me saying that nobody isn't allowed to process their emotions for however long they need to, since this was only just yesterday/today this all happened. Take all the time you need to, especially as I already mentioned, those most affected already know all of this and I wasn't trying to speak to any of you. I can't take the pathetic, miserable attitude these people have.  They're on the edge of killing themselves over political wins.  How do you create a life like this?  How do you plan day-to-day if this is how capricious it all is, and you're just a complete wreck when the political tides change, as they always do?   Even if you're so mind-fucked with ideology, autistic, trans, or whatever else brainfuckage you have, how do you decide to give other people this power over your life?  Okay, you can't get hormones because Medicaid plans don't support it?  Get a job.  Problem solved.  You can't get a job because you're so depressed and mentally ill?  Use the medicaid to see a psychiatrist (I know for a fact there are *some* psychs that take medicaid) and pull yourself together.  You keep trying.  You don't just concede that you have no fucking power.  Just get it over with if that's what you believe - what is the point of living?  An entire race is keeping me down forever and ever and I can't exercise an iota of free will to make my life meaningfully better.  Then die.  I mean, if I truly believed this, I wouldn't waste any time.  There'd be absolutely no point!  If your life is just completely up to politicians, other races, and you're just an invariable ball of misery, there truly is no virtue in maintaining a life like this.  You're not getting into heaven by suffering through a miserable life.  Just do yourself a favor if you're just going to concede that you have no power over your life.*
