A federal disaster relief official ordered workers to bypass the homes of Donald Trump’s supporters as they surveyed damage caused by Hurricane Milton in Florida, according to internal correspondence obtained by The Daily Wire and confirmed by multiple federal employees.

A FEMA supervisor told workers in a message to “avoid homes advertising Trump” as they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid, internal messages viewed by The Daily Wire reveal. The supervisor, Marn’i Washington, relayed this message both verbally and in a group chat used by the relief team, multiple government employees told The Daily Wire.

The government employees told The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were skipped from the end of October and into November due to the guidance, meaning they were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance. Images shared with The Daily Wire show that houses were skipped over by the workers, who wrote in the government system messages such as: “Trump sign no entry per leadership.”

He was told not to rock the boat too much after Biden dropped out but then he started to sink in the polls. So as usual he told the pollsters and politcal advisors to eat a bag of dicks and took matters into his own hands. With Barron having the final say on which podcasts he would attend.

It's kind of crazy how they were all wrong in their assumption that more Trump would scare away moderates.

Pod Save America host Jon Favreau said on the podcast Friday that President Joe Biden’s internal polls showed former President Donald Trump defeating him in an Electoral College landslide before he exited the race in July.

Favreau, who called Biden’s decision to run for reelection “catastrophic,” also said the president’s team was secretly telling reporters that Vice President Kamala Harris was incapable of beating Trump, but he pushed her candidacy anyway.

As Favreau put it, the Biden camp was “shivving” Harris, who ultimately only nabbed 226 electoral votes en route to handing Trump a second White House term.

These last few weeks, I’ve been listening to The Cure’s excellent new album, Songs of a Lost World. Particularly in the last few days, its typically gloomy lyrics and brooding guitar work has provided an apt soundtrack to the news.

Listening to these now-aged rock stars reminds me of when I was a teenager, decades ago, hearing The Cure in their prime. Back then, they were the voice of all the misfits who didn’t belong in the mainstream society of the Reagan years — and I was definitely one of those. A nerdy, thin, Jewish, pre-gay intellectual, I had nothing in common with seemingly everyone else in my junior high and high schools. I didn’t go to football games, wasn’t trying to “get” girls, and didn’t celebrate Christmas.
