If Van Jones is to be believed no Democrat has any idea what to do and they've basically given up for now.

It reminds me of something I read the other day.

The Democrats always assumed Trump would try to take power in some kind of nefarious way.
They were on the lookout for Russian interference, Trump outraising them with foreign donors like the Saudis or anything else that he could do to stage a coup.

On election night they had legal teams ready to fight claims of election fraud, security perimeters around government buildings and the media in lockstep declaring that any early victory announcement from Trump should be ignored as eventually when everything was counted Harris would win (red mirage / blue shift).

The one thing that they didn't consider is that Trump would decisively win free, fair and honest elections.

Like the Trump cabinet so far though skeptical of DOGE (ugh) but like the idea of smaller government. Hope the rumors of Rubio as SoS aren’t true. I’m pulling for Tulsi. I noticed the Rubio talk disappeared and Trump never released an official statement on him so my hope is that someone leaked the name to get an idea of the mood and MAGAs hate it while neocons like Ben Shapiro get erect. Why progressivism upholds more of a focus on women, minority communities, LGBTQ+ communities instead of themselves. And typically the answer that they're met with from other people on the right is because [progressives are] lame, cringey, and weird. And more often than not when these young men go into the left, they're met with the answer that, well, you're just misogynistic and sexist. Adopt these ideals, or be isolated. And that is a very hard issue to solve. A lot of younger men that fall into these [right-wing] communities are misogynistic, are homophobic, are racist. So how do you open a space for dialogue to hopefully convince more of these younger men that maybe they're wrong?

Everything they said is a lie, Benji. Commander in Chief gladly shook hands with Trump today. “Welcome back”, he said. Kamala and Biden were all smiles after losing the election.
