I do too as an autistic guy who doesn't have delusions. Like it's their special interest and they get fixated on it. Mine is nerdy shit, but I can separate fiction from reality. There has to be a lot more mental illness going on.

The trans people I know in real life aren't autistic. I don't believe for a second that a lot of these people online are autistic as well. These idiots love to self diagnosis and get mad if they don't get a real diagnosis from an actual doctor. They want something to be wrong with them.

Hey all! Bucking the trend, I actually didn't know much about this place before joining! I'm actively trying to cut out things like Reddit put of my life, and thought returning to places like old internet forums would be a good idea. And this seemed like a cool place!

We are discussing forum restructuring.

In the meantime we are thinking of pushing the politics/trump stuff into the elections section. Admin will rename the section too. We will look at enabling users to ignore this section. Same goes for US Politics prefix/tag. I'm not sure if these will remain ignorable in the long term, it is part of the staff discussion and user can continue offering thoughts here.

It has been busy so I'm not entirely sure when all the changes will happen exactly. Thanks for your patience.

Making ignorable threads owned by administrator stooges worked so well for eras poliical discourse, why wouldn't they want to bring that same echo chamber technology to the console wars too?

A year ago, Resetera was banning people for speaking out against Twitter.
