I don't know of this person so maybe there is a lot worse from him, but this I think I actually agree with. Most people simply do not get gender diversity, many people are latently hostile to it, and something which is kind of trivial - what division of a sport you play in - is talked about far too much because it lights a spark in people who otherwise wouldn't pay any attention. I think it's a battle that could be won later, and in the meantime focus on the actual life and death stuff. I think that would activate a lot less hostility and people would be able to get proper healthcare and rights in the areas of life that are more important than an aspect of sport, which is only even going to be relevant to the quality of a few people's lives.

This is something I'm thinking more generally about political issues lately. Demands for perfect are getting in the way of progress, and allowing the narrative on issues to be that we want perfection immediately is not working, because it has the ring of truth, and at the moment I'd say we are losing ground rather than gaining, across the board and all over the world.

I wish Sega would put some of the Dreamcast games that never got ported on Steam and modern consoles. It looked like a really awesome machine with some great exclusives.

Skies of Arcadia is one I've always wanted to try and I know it got a Gamecube port but nothing since. Sega is generally good for re-releasing old games so I'm hoping that them de-listing certain games is making way for a collection of sorts and more ports.
