I was shocked or actually not. The AI person of the year in this country is some kind of DEI person. In fact there is a group of like 5 who work at the biggest universities mostly focused on making AI ethical, diverse and hitting the brakes on technological progress. All they do is make podcasts and post about how AI is bad but really they are the experts on this because they are trans or a fat black woman. It's the same arguments as always, climate, gaza and elon musk is a nazi and all the usual groups are on the same crack that they now call "philosophical" which is just woke rebranded. These people used ChatGPT for 5 minutes then concluded AI is racist. 

The woke scurge is not yet purged. The enemy is inside the gates.  

They're not very smart though. The woman send me all their names and work to check out. So now I know exactly who they are. 

My argument is pretty simple. We were defenseless prior to World War 2 because of a left wing movement that prevented a military build-up. We had 1 tank against the dozens the Germans had. No fighter planes, despite building them for the Germans in WW1. If we don't invest in AI our AI experts will leave and we will be defenseless against what they see as the "fascists" like Trump and of course our real enemy Russia. This is the goal of the left. Weaken the country further by undermining the economy and hitting the brakes on AI. The data centers aren't bad for the climate, they are bad for their agenda. 

With AI we might actually solve these real issues and deal with shortages in healthcare and defense. They're all still living in lala land asking why efficiency is good and how AI is undermining the 'meaning of life' for many. Which you know, they are responsible for by destroying the Church. While at the same time they argue that AI does not deliver. If it doesn't deliver then why is it dangerous?

They have imported a theory called "Endtime fascism" from activists in Canada that they use to scare the masses. 



I was wondering this weekend. Why are vacancies for AI business development open for 6 - 12 months why have these companies only just set-up their campuses and don't dare to advertise it openly and instead talk nonsense about EU data sovereignty no one understands. Why is Mr. Rogers doing all this under the radar. Because having failed to stop Trump and being blindsided by Nvidia the left will call you a Nazi if you are pro AI. They made this thing political because that's the only argument they ever have.

Anyway I told the woman who makes the AI Nazi Bad podcasts the political class is eating up that I'm always happy to have an open debate.

Europe will happily regulate AI because they're not even a player in it but I don't see it happening in the US or China while they are still so heavily competing. If one of them were to pause their development the other one would happily fill the gap.
