She basically says JK Rowling hates trans people and devotes money and time to hating/hurting trans people, virtue mirroring makes you believe you can’t like or even read HP/enjoy the films they already own because it would make them appear transphobic by proxy whereas practical ethical consumerism wouldn’t mean that to support trans people and trans rights you have to stop liking HP or indulging what you already own but it does mean that you have to stop financially supporting and purchasing HP products going forward because you will then be financially contributing the JK’s war on trans people.

There’s then someone who is trans going to say how it helped to literally learn to read and was there for them during the problematic time that was their childhood.

I'll always make fun of Era for not reading the articles they post, but in this case, the headline is "WAR BEGINS" and the text of the article is "...with a W."

The headline appears to be an exact quote from Nintendo. They were then just coy about confirming if this means it's the exact same people or the same studio

It's terrible journalism because it's ambiguous what Nintendo actually said. VGC didn't confirm shit and left out very unclear while trying to be specific in their headline.
