Complete run of The Boys, which you've probably heard of, and some of Project Superpowers which you probably haven't.

I dunno if its the complete Project Superpowers or not, because I bounced off it when it had one of the stupidest twists I've read in comics, but YMMV and its pretty good until it gets there. The gist is a bunch of superheroes in WW2 all vanished, but they were just time displaced and return today.

One of the super heroes out of nowhere turns out to be Zeus, as in the mythological greek god, and hes responsible for most of the circumstances regarding the actual superhumans not just the vigilantes in masks and then becomes the main bad guy

Project Superpowers is another of these erstaz projects that isn't really complete anyway, like the Supreme Power universe. I think it's even been semi-rebooted too. Astro City is really like the only one of these that's ever actually not been dropped.
