Reading that topic I recalled something from earlier in the year and was curious if it ever got updated, so in April Contrapoints put out a video, but she is a banned YouTuber and b-dubs removed the post, and made this staff post:

People were upset because they like Contrapoints now, go find the thread where she was listed as being on JK Rowlings podcast to see how they used to hate her, but still banned and people were upset about that. 

The next day, AliceAmber posted this as a moderator but not official communication: 

We decided to bar discussion of Wynn's video because, simply put, the discussion usually becomes about her. Historically that's what happens, we said she's controversial for a damn good reason. Then there's the fact that people really like posting her ridiculously long videos without summarizing them or having substantial commentary of their own. (Which is a much bigger problem in general but I digress.) There's literally no way for staff to instantly know if a video of hers is worthwhile and so we erred on the side of caution given the subject matter. We just didn't want this thread getting derailed by her and her history. Especially given the subject matter. This is isn't official but y'all may be able to discuss the content of the video later, the discussion just can't be centered on her. The decision was never about protecting her from criticism or anything of that sort. Mind you, I don't personally like her.

TL;DR: the actual contents of the video will probably be allowed to be discussed later. Please be patient as necessary staff come to an agreement when possible.

I definitely don't want AEW to stream on Max now. I will continue not giving JK money directly or indirectly even though I'd love to go back to Universal Studios. Last time I went to the one in Florida was before any HP stuff opened. Went to Osaka and there was no HP stuff when we went. Went to the Cali one in 2016 right before their first HP stuff. Once she went mask off... yeesh.

It fucking sucks because I really want to check out the Nintendo stuff... but I don't know what JK gets from an entry fee so I can't do it.

Look, another massive hit in the videogame space that none of the "journalists" covered or expected because they have their heads up their ass.

If they had half a brain they would remember that Pokemon-like things did really well in the past. You had Metabots, Digimon, Dragon Quest Monsters etc. you had a whole bunch of Pokemon but not Pokemon franchises and video games. Not so long ago Yo-Kai Watch was popular for a while. Publishers just kind of forgot so GameFreak was the only game in town.

Now there is a new game that is cheap, looks like Pokemon on systems that lack these type of games and combines a number of popular genres like farming sims and survival open world. It would likely explode and it did.

Also another highway off the Xbox ecosystem. The GamePass version is kind of broken so everyone is flocking to Steam to play it there.

I've had so many ideas and designs stolen from me and my company that I don't care anymore. Literally entire industries copying my designs, processes and product offerings as well as clients and competitors pretending they don't know what copyright even is or other people doing the: "You didn't make that, I did" thing with no credit.

In most creative fields copyright is only enforceable by the big corpos.

I do things differently now. I know others are watching me so from time to time I deliberately put out the worst ideas as 'bait' for them to copy.

There is a particular big industry that is entirely using this very Arial font in all their brand communication because of me and making stock Arial their industry standard to drive the other agencies nuts makes me happier than any copyright claim could ever make me.
