I wonder how many who are left/liberal do not feel welcome in the era/twitter/r-gamingcirclejerk "left"/"progressive" circles. We all know when you doubt them or dont blanket agree with them, you are labelled a nazi. So many black/poc nazi's running around.

I'm very left-wing and always have been, but I can't stand those sites. The people are genuinely insane.

A lot of online communities have sadly been taken over by terminally online, profoundly stupid nutters with no social skills and extreme black and white thinking. It's basically the weirdos who used to be kept in the corner and have come to the forefront as the normies moved on with their actual lives.

The sensible ones who have friends, nuanced opinions and the ability to politely disagree are still around. They're just not on Era etc anymore.

Those are the weirdos who are constantly online who comment incessantly and dominate conversation. Normal people just don't have the time or energy to keep up.

My liberal parents voted in the SC republican primary for Nikki Haley. They have the kind of boomer lib mindset where they really want to get rid of Trump so we can go back to "normal politics". Didn't do anything, and even if she somehow won SC she still would have lost the primaries overall, but I can't fault them for trying.

RE5 should be remade but I think Sheva needs to be the main character with Chris being the expert that he is in bioterrorism. She has to be the one to see how Tricell turned the villagers into ganados. One thing that RE4 had that they didnt do for 5 was show the villagers being normal before everything happened. I dont remember that from 5 but it was in 4.

I was glad to see a big game set there. Also, the coop was amazing.

It's a great action game and that section in particular was actually sort of open zone designed like the boat sequence in Half Life 2.
Gameplay wise not much wrong with it, maybe a bit too many 'fight waves' and 'use gun turret' sequences that were popular then.

As for the Resident Evil part, I do think it would need some bigger changes to the plot than RE2 and RE4 so it ties in better to the new ending of RE4.

But IGN soy man is just utterly ridiculous

What he is basically saying is that you can't make games that take place in Africa.
Also the 360/PS3-era must have been the golden age of no-bullshit third person action games. 

I wonder why publishers think we don't like these type of games anymore, when they sell really well if they do release.
Part of why Resident Evil 4 does so well is that there is no competition.

When you look at top 10 lists of Xbox action games now, they include stuff like the Definitive Edition of Maffia, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Max Payne 3 because there are so few this generation.
