They can't comprehend real women as individual people, like almost all things they talk about, women exist in their mind in an idealized form, a platonic woman.

Which is why they talk about them like this:

I think Ashley in 4 is probably the closest any other modern RE character comes but she's also a teenager so I kinda gave her some leeway for looking a bit more doll faced and smooth skinned.

This is probably a good theory why:

It's all for show.
Whenever they say "woman" or "women" they're talking about a platonic ideal in the abstract. Because you can hypothesize someone fetishizing anything this becomes proof that pretty much anything but "real women" (aka an abstract fat plain women (ideally of indeterminate ethnicity) with zero traditional fetishizable features) are deliberate gooner bait. The internalized shame is what drives their puritan zealotry against the hypothetical "gooner" who is entirely traditional in his interests. The repression drives hyperfetishization until you're obsessing over two seconds of asses or exposed femoral arteries or whatever inversely to trying to normalize and protect from criticism talking constantly about jerking off and violent gangbangs and all the stuff Melody retweets that's empowering lesbians everywhere.

They view traditional normal things as both offensive and abnormal while constantly trying to make it the inverse of their own position and so "actually" held by a small perverted minority. Then because they're brilliant their move is to flip the imagined accusations against themselves back on their accusers, I'm not a gooner I like wholesome filling five thousand year old demon girls with gallons of cum, you're the gooner, look at you drooling over those asses and watching the two seconds on a loop until you cum all over yourself for the fifth time today. Even though nobody does this latter thing, the traditional view doesn't hyperfixate on those asses or boobs or whatever because it's normalized and everywhere. They can only comprehend the idea of it being tantalizing within their own personal framework though. So it must be heavily fetishizing to an extreme level purely for a weird minority. To them this can be the only reason people like Stellar Blade because in their mind they're thinking of someone like Kyuuji who fetishizes the female form purely for his personal sexual pleasure and they're inverting the "who" of that, whereas the majority of the audience is simply finding them attractive in a more traditional and aesthetic sense than actual sexual fetishization let alone to the level of hyperobsession over their approach to a platonic ideal of woman.

They know the words to form to their critique but not the why of anything, so that's how they make gobs of posts attacking "goonery" while also chanting that sex work is real work and "real" women should never be shamed for anything they do. Then they need an ad hoc explanation for the contradiction rather than simply not imposing a contradiction on things in the first place. Instead they start writing essays about the "female gaze" difference and high femmes as if any of this is determined by anything but the vibes of the local dominant social groups. The critiques aren't honest at two levels, the formerly mentioned and also because the critiques aren't being made to express actually held views to engage in a dialogue, they're about social signaling in hopes of receiving praise for saying the wanted things or simply because others are saying them.

Who is gonna read all of this. Who do you write for. They are not gonna see your answer. Write a book or fanfic or something jesus.
