Well, the advert in the game that some accused of being transphobic is still in there. The marketing campaigns based around GOG can certainly be attributed to a staff member that has long since left, though how much grace you think that affords them is up to you.

Speaking entirely for myself, I was able to make a trans female V that I thought was good representation for me. And I preferred the Femme-V voice anyway, though it's a delicate issue for many trans people. I also thought the trans characters in the game were treat well. But opinions do differ.

Now if a non-protected, cis user said this, they’d be brigaded by the discord tr00n squad and perma’d for dismissive commentary. 

I boycotted CP initially despite having played all 3 Witcher games because of the transphobic marketing campaigns CDPR were running up until launch. The terrible launch put it out of my mind but I've been intrigued every now and then in the years since, but have they really made any sort of 'improvements' since, or can the weird transphobic stuff they were doing be attributed to a staff member(s) who has since left?

No one told him that all the RE trans members were happily playing the game?
