I stopped trying to futz with mobile Bire because I kept breaking it more. At some point there's supposed to be a MyBB update that will contain a properly built mobile version, this current one is a legacy one from some time ago when Apple lied to everybody about what you had to just insert and their browser would automatically render it in certain ways. And Google probably mostly just copied this behavior. I think there's a demo or pictures at least on the MyBB forums somewhere. I have no clue when this is supposed to be released, but it's presumably soon because they've stopped updating as much other than security flaws. 

I don't even know if I fixed that reply bug where it was thinking post numbers are telephone numbers or if people just learned to get around it. There's supposed to be a drastic flag for the entire forum that NOTHING IS A TELEPHONE NUMBER but Safari was somehow ignoring it for a while so I just gave up. Then I noticed it stopped happening.

I'm still willing to adjust things in the theme for everyone, mobile or not, but I stopped trying to implement the "suggested" mobile stuff and adding/maintaining themes is shitty especially because so many of the actual good ones are paid themes. The one person who uses the Dark Theme (the theme page in the admin stuff shows how many people use each but not who it is) probably hasn't visited in months and for all I know the other themes are all broken now and I probably should just remove them.

The main priority is this: the likes work. That's why we don't even use the new version of the like system because when I updated it you'll remember that the LIKES STOPPED WORKING. Hopefully that does not occur with the mobile upgrades as it would be a literal genocide.

Fix it so moblin could like posts.  Getting a moblin like is one of the greatest achievement to get

Dear everyone: even if you think you hate baseball/sports games in general, install MLB The Show and just play through the Negro Leagues content. It's an incredibly well crafted labor of love, and it's not just about baseball, it's American history. The actual gameplay segments in that content are pretty low difficulty level, and they're interspersed between storytelling segments that are absolutely worth your time.

Yeah this is a pretty immaculate multiplayer game and is the exact kind of thing the PlayStation audience should want out of Sony producing a multiplayer experience.

It has top of the line presentation in all dimensions, it feels amazing to play, it is sold at a reasonable price point that should, in theory, enable this game to exist in the form that it is. Because as you mention, all players have access to all characters from the jump. No F2P economic model game would do this as several other articulate, insightful posters around here have elaborated upon. The price point directly facilitates/impacts the design. Nor does any F2P multiplayer look as good or feel as good to play (or is nearly as immaculately precision designed as this but I don't want to get in a shit fight over this statement).

This is 1000% the game the game designers wanted to make, NOT a cynical read of the marketplace, pandered product catered to a larger, mass market audience. Everything about it entirely reflects this extreme hyper-focused intentionality. Everything.

The rejection of this was always going to happen because there is a collective of people that have differing yet pretty equally dumb reasons to hate on something like this. And beyond that, this kind of game has always been a niche, brutal sort of experience to the general public also, as Alek elaborated on in a very good post earlier today.

It is a mechanically, sensorially highly intensive action game that demands both strong, persistent mechanical execution AND strong tactical, on-the-fly situational decision making all the time in order to truly excel. It asks the player to have very good spatial awareness as well. And the people that do these things the best can really start to lord over people in a game like this who simply cannot keep up. These games have always been an extremely "acquired taste". But I don't think there's any denying that this game absolutely should be seeing more success than it is.

This game is quite clearly not meant for the masses. But it is precision engineered for a person like myself. And clearly there's not much people like us who can really admire the quality of a game like this, and that's quite unfortunate really.

Just think about this: think about how much text is presented to the player in this multiplayer game. There is a built-in "How to Play" primer that is a huge amount of text. Then there's the Galactic Guide and all of the text that's in there too. Think about the kind of person that would be inclined to read but also love extremely intense, unbelievably lush action games. That's who this game appeals to.

Think about a lot of the posters and posts in this thread. That's another clue.

Disappointingly, it seems that there's no option to write in a reason when cancelling PS+. The closest is "not happy with the monthly games" but that option feels more like a quality standpoint rather than being against Sony using my money to fund hatred.

I expect more HP in the future with HL starting to drop in price and the Lego remasters too. This isn't the first time and I don't think this is the last time that Sony are seemingly choosing to platform terfs.
