he's a guy whose manic energy and specific brand of idiocy Null really enjoys, he "discovered" him and brought him to others' attention by featuring him on his streams

the appeal(?) is that he is a compulsive online gambler, gets sponsored by gambling sites where they give him tens of thousands of dollars to gamble on stream because they know he will lose it all and give it right back to them

he gets super excited about winning big, has won 50 to 100k a few times, freaks out, calls his parents to tell them he's buying his own car and house and moving out, calls his dealer to tell him he's paying off his debts...withdraws some of the money to keep...loses what he has, puts what he withdrew back in, and loses all of it

So I'm reading this thread trying to discern what this is about and I'm struck by how many comments there are doing elaborate psychoanalysis trying to construct theories of Asmondgold and other streamers mentioned ideological views and asperations such as jumping from shut-in who sits among trash all day to political power.

This is just cope for the fact they spent years watching and loving an obvious idiot who seems creepy, right? They're saying they were bamboozled so he must be some kind of brilliant operator.

I don't think he's pro-trump specifically, it's just that the world has flipped upside down and a small minority of the stuff trump's platform stands for now better represents reality and a positive future than the left

People in the community are saying that realistically streamers as popular as these 3 should have private security with them at all times in public, but then that kind of also not only opens the door for potential escalation in incidents that don't really call for it, it also kind of ruins the "vibe" that it's just 3 normal women hanging out. I'm not really sure what the solution is for things like this long-term.

I also say "vibe" when I mean "pretend".
