How awesome is western civilization that there’s the expectation of providing every ethnicity and religion an equal voice? Sure isn’t the case anywhere else. Imagine complaining that Al Jazeera is silencing Jewish voices. Or RT is silencing American voices.
There’s that other piece on a sociopath complaining about having white coworkers in the UK. That is unheard of anywhere else.

Honestly, posting pics with appropriate tags from a game that people on here have actually have played is fine. (As long as it isn't a banned game or so bad that it would be banned from discussion.)
As a thread/community we need to do better than, "Hey, check out this disgusting/questionable/offensive design I found from a game I will never play." This shouldn't be a NSFW Show and No Tell thread. Otherwise we get what we got last page, eldritch abomination that that ten billion people quoted in order to react to.
But yeah, the forum as a whole is super inconsistent with NSFW stuff. Personally, I'm fine with NSFW (within reason) shit in this thread if it is for the purposes of generating a discussion. There needs to be merit. Beyond shock and awe points of course. This thread is inherently NSFW and it always will be and I can live with that, but that doesn't mean it needs to be Super NSFW or look like a sketchy image board.
Also the rule isn't don't ever quote a post with an image, just if there's any doubt then just remove it. If people want context, they have a link to the post in question. Though honestly the problem would be mitigated if everyone was better about NSFW tags in the first place but I digress.

Pretty sure Crossing Eden is getting the story wrong. Sam Maggs, famous for "I was raped in GTA online", talked about how Rivet in Ratchet and Clank came to be and basically attacked her former colleagues by talking about how they at one point had concept art where Rivet looked different and also had some perceptible boobs. Her and her clique then threw tantrums in the office until they got their way
At one point a female dev from Insomniac spoke up and talked about how Sam Maggs made everyone at the office uncomfortable and how the concept art of Rivet was actually perfectly fine. Oh and she also tried to take credit for coming up with Rivet's name while she actually didn't. It's all documented here https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/s/ZweIgaOIrw

A lot of female Japanese artists dont really give a fuck about all this character design wise. You can totally blame in how weird Japan can be, but ton of female Japanese creators intentionally create lewd stuff and not just for corporate commissions. Doesn’t mean they have internalized misogyny, but for many their priorities lay elsewhere than be in perpetual gender wars with random at social media like many aspiring western artists.

I don't think liberal democracy cares enough about human rights and individuals participation in government, so I'm backing HAMAS, a terrorist organisation that abolished elections, spent resources intended for humanitarian aid on weaponry, started a war by raping, murdering and kidnapping civilians, and is run by a millionaire living the life of luxury in Qatar while his people struggle to maintain a subsistence lifestyle
